KENNER, LA — Alex A. Perdomo, a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish and dedicated community advocate, is proud to announce his candidacy for State Representative, House District 92. Driven by a deep commitment to his neighbors and a vision for a thriving local economy, Perdomo is stepping forward to represent the interests of his community in Baton Rouge.

For Perdomo, this campaign is deeply personal. Having grown up in the area and now raising his own children alongside his wife, Anne Claire, in that same community, Perdomo has witnessed the challenges facing local families firsthand. He cites the departure of many friends and neighbors—driven by a lack of local opportunity—as a primary motivator for his decision to seek office.

"I’ve watched too many good friends pack up and leave, chasing opportunities they couldn’t find at home," said Perdomo. "I believe this place has everything it needs to be somewhere people choose to stay and build their lives. I want to help make that true."

Perdomo brings a pragmatic, solutions-oriented background to the race. Throughout his career, he has focused on building—starting in the construction industry and transitioning to helping families and small business owners plan for their financial futures. He aims to bring this same hands-on, industrious spirit to the State House to advocate for policies that foster growth, stability, and long-term opportunity for District 92.
